Upwardly Global is a non-profit organization that helps immigrant, refugee, and asylum-seeking professionals rebuild their careers in the United States. Its mission is to eliminate employment barriers for skilled immigrants and refugees, and integrate this population into the professional U.S. workforce. This year’s report documented Upwardly Global’s achievements, including rapid response to incoming Afghani refugees. The design approach employed a system of overlapping color blocks, which depict the way these disparate career-seeking stories come together to form the narrative arc.
