NYC Department of Parks and Recreation
Publication Design
Commissioned by NYC Parks, the Harlem River Watershed and Natural Resources Management Plan is a comprehensive blueprint for ecological resilience and restoration in the Bronx. I led the design of the report, translating complex research, data, and mapping into an accessible, visually compelling publication.
The visual system incorporated custom infographics, intuitive layouts, and a restrained, nature-inspired palette to guide diverse audiences—including policymakers, community members, and scientists—through technical content. The design reinforced the plan’s call for equitable access to green space, habitat restoration, and long-term environmental stewardship, while aligning with NYC Parks’ broader visual identity.
This project is part of a broader body of work focused on making the urban environment more engaging, legible, and impactful.
