I created the visual identity design for Gotham Foundry, New York City’s flagship Sustainable Materials Innovation Hub. Developed in collaboration with academic partners at Columbia University, CUNY, and FIT, the brand needed to reflect the city's ambitious investment in a circular economy and cutting-edge materials research. The visuals merge urbanity and biology with forward-thinking aesthetics—a flexible graphic language and custom typography used across reports, digital platforms, signage, and other public-facing materials. This identity not only unified diverse stakeholders, but also helped establish Gotham Foundry as a recognizable and authoritative presence in the city’s growing green economy. This work supports a cross-institutional initiative that received $45 million in funding from NYCEDC, positioning New York as a leader in sustainable innovation.
